Astanga Vinyasa Yoga
www.yogatree.uk.com
My client for this site, Jane Sleven, teaches yoga around
the UK and in India. She was looking for a site that was visually
striking above all else. The home page is unique to the rest
of the site - she wanted to incorporate the symbolic 'yoga
tree', and use colours associated with nature and relaxation.
By 'mousing over' the links at the bottom of the home page,
one can see an overview of what is in each section appearing
in the centre of the tree.

Mill Farm Trees
www.millfarmtrees.co.uk
Mill Farm Trees is a business based near Pulborough, West
Sussex, who sell hedging plants, broadleaved trees and native
shrubs to a range of associations as well as individuals.
The client was keen to incorporate photos of the various plants,
trees and shrubs sold into the design. The site includes an
email contact form, and a products page including links to
large pictures of the products which appear in pop-up windows.

Design Advantage
www.designadvantage.co.uk
Design Advantage offer a range of design services, including
branding and logo creation, web design using both HTML and
Flash, print, magazines, and photography - to name but a few!
The site speaks for itself - design had to be the most important
feature here, and the use of Flash has made the site extremely
eyecatching, as well as being easy to navigate.

Brookfield Marquees
www.brookfieldmarquees.com
Brookfield Marquees provide marquees and related accessories
for events such as wedding receptions and garden parties.
The client had a very clear idea of what he wanted - in fact,
he provided the design in a Word document which was then implemented
by Minerva. He believed his photographs spoke volumes about
his business and therefore the site is very graphical, and
when one mouses over a thumbnail image, a larger version appears
in the main area of the window.
The site has also been optimised to increase 'hits' from
search engines.

Shipwrecked Mariner's Society
www.shipwreckedmariners.org.uk
The Shipwrecked Mariner's Society was a charity founded in
1839 as a result of the tragic loss of a fleet of fishing
boats on the north Devon coast the previous year. Today, the
society still gives help in the event of shipwreck, but their
main function is to pay grants to retired seafarers and their
widows in cases of need. Due to such long history and extensive
work, the site needed to be comprehensive in order to incorporate
all of this information. It includes the facility to donate
online plus forms to request further information, and was
designed to accentuate the society's nautical theme.
The site also includes a text-only version for the visually
impaired.

Merton and Morden Guild of Social Service
www.mandmguild.org
The Merton and Morden Guild of Social Service aims
to be a user-friendly site where older people get a
warm welcome, can meet people and make friends, keep
active and mobile, get out and about and have fun, and
learn something new.
The site is therefore easy to navigate using a large
typeface, and features links which this particular client
group are likely to find useful.

page faetures images, descriptive text and product specifications,
with the opportunity to download the product pages and
